over the past couple of years, i've become more and more displeased with the direction my art is going. i can see improvement, and that's good, but it's not improvement in the direction i want to go.
basically, ever since i started drawing, i've been focusing on fixing any imperfections in my sketches with the linework afterwords. for me, this has lead to almost surgically precise lines. great, right?
not... exactly...
you see, i draw my inspiration from things like nature and action movies; which are seldom (if ever) surgical, and that causes some pretty intense disappointment on my end. even with pieces that i'm truly proud of.

eh, kinda. i've been working a lot lately (mostly outside of internet service), so i haven't had as much time to draw as i would like, and usually when i do draw it's not digital. here in about a month i'll be back to drawing digitally though, and hopefully i'll have the capability to livestream as well!

I feel like you are making great progress with your art! You have a style that lends itself to cuteness (with MLP, at least.) Your anatomy still needs some work, but I see how you're focusing on it and continuing to practice, which is excellent. Keep up the practice!
